Gianmarco è un session man tra i migliori in Italia, insegnante,
batterista perfetto dal groove potente in studio e con tanta energia nei live con i Litfiba,
ma alcune registrazioni nello studio Idea Suono con i Rock Galileo (la vecchia band di Giamma)
direttamente su Dat senza mixare, potrebbero sbalordire per bravura e il suono vintage,
puro rock anni ’70.

Gianmarco Colzi, born in Florence, Italy, started to play the piano at the age of three, but shortly after he abandoned it and started to play his favourite instrument: the drums. In 1994 he was part of a Florentine band, Rock Galileo, which had a moderate success around Italy. They made three records and participated in many TV-programs and in Festival di San Remo, the most famous music competition in Italy. In year 2000 he started to play with Litfiba, one of the most important rock bands in Italy, and together they made three albums: Insidia in 2001, EMI Platinum Collection in 2003 and Essere o Sembrare in 2005, to which he contributed with his own music and lyrics. While playing with Litfiba, he concentrates on writing his own music and sings in a tribute-band dedicated to Jeff Buckley. At the beginning of 2006 he decides to enter upon an independent career as singer-songwriter, collecting all his material to give life to a first self-production. The final product is a mix of many kinds of music like folk, pop and ballade, where some of the songs stand out because of their intensity, genuineness and purity of expression.
